The fact that there are over 80,000 registered daylilies it is almost impossible to id a daylily even with an image , it is definitely impossible without an image . I would just enjoy the plant if it were me .

Could it possibly be 'Stella Supreme' ... this compact growing very light yellow blooms for months on end.

I have a light yellow daylily that blooms all season. It’s a gorgeous daylily. Twist Again by Mike Huben. You would know if it is TA as it’s pretty distinctive for yellow. It almost seems glittery and the petals twist in different ways. In hot weather the throat is green tinted.

Finally! It only shows the green occasionally. My guess is this is not your daylily just thought I’d give you another option. In the five years that I’ve had them it always still has flowers until the snow hits it or the temps starts hitting 29 degrees on a regular basis. So she blooms mid to late June-Oct. here

I agree, could be Stella Supreme.

I should have said this earlier, but the flowers on these plants don't look like your typical garden daylily variety (they look NOTHING like stella d'oro, to give you an idea). I'm guessing this is some sort of species hemerocallis. Hope that helps narrow it down.

Nope , Sorry it doesn't help . Please take a picture of the bloom so we can see what it looks like then maybe ( and that is a huge maybe) someone can help id it .

Try looking up the daylily The Jury’s Out. Is that a closer look or are the petals even thinner.

There is a farm in the northeast that’s has many different types of daylilies. You may be able to find a type that is like what you are seeing. It is called Olallie Daylily Farm and it is online.
