I use rain and tap water. My tap is around 100ppm so no need to collect rainwater. It rains a lot and humidity is insane in KY so I don't have to fill my tables that often.

Thanks for the nice compliment. Here are some more pics from this summer. Most of my pitcher plants are hybrids. Got some exceptional VFTs from seed. The dead insect remains left in flytraps attract Daddy Long legs and then they get trapped! Smart plants!

Oh nice! Those flytraps look really healthy! I used to have tons of them but decided to concentrate on sarracenia. Just started collecting them again this year. Even used to tissue culture VFT.

Very cool. I've sliced up a sundew leaf or two to propagate it, done leaf pullings of vfts and Cephalotus but never messed around with tissue culture.

I know that these are not Pitcher Plants, but I also grow Calypogon Orchids that grow in the exact same conditions as sarracenias - peat/sand mix, no fertilizer, love the summer heat and should sit in water. They get overwintered next to my pitcher plants and multiply steadily from corms.

Omg! If you ever have extras lmk. I have tons of sarracenia I can trade.
