Depth is measured front to back & width from side to side. The picture seems to show differently. A narrow width/W of 12" combined with a depth/D of 16.5" seems odd to me. Want to make sure before purchasing. Also could one be stacked on top of the other if secured? Thanks, Cynthia Oelking
