You can transplant a squash plant or a rooted section of vine. But since they're annuals and it's nearly Autumn it won't be much use to you.

No, you have nothing to lose. But it sounded as if you were hopeful which I don't think is realistic. The enormous leafage of a squash vine would make it hard to transplant. The transpiration from the leaves would not be compensated for by the reduced and unsettled roots.
