Arnold Promise or not

My Arnold Promise died to the ground and I’d like to know if this is in fact the same plant or the root stock (common Witchhazel ).


Leaf on left is from Arnold rebirth and so is the picture below it as a full plant.


The leaf on the right is from a common I have to compare. It is more mod a lighter green.
