We have just bought a house and are wanting to put in new floors. There is a dining area off to the left of the entry and a living area off to the right. The entry also leads right into the kitchen that has newer laminate flooring. Looking for flooring ideas that would make everything seem more cohesive. Would prefer no carpeting on the main level. Any other ideas re: entry light replacement, wall colour etc. would be appreciated. I am also wanting to take the carpeted runner off the stairs and paint the front of the steps white.
