I'd say it was a Eupatorium but I'm not familiar with the N American species.

Right. We only have one native species and it appears to have been split off and left in Eupatorium.

Yes, but I've never heard it called that. In fact I first learned that name today. It's Hemp Agrimony as far as I'm concerned.
