Where are the plants? In those cages? How about the lampshades? Not looking too boho yet. Add color, texture and definitely a rug.

Ilikefriday, as usual, hit it outta the park. OP, is that the kind of stencil you were considering? Is it now ;-)

all the plants are out of the shot. oops! I have a fiddle leaf fig in the room a zz plant and a dumb cane trio.

Maybe think about a particular style or your particular style and go from there. Think about color and texture and what you really want to achieve. Conservative is ok but big and bold can be gorgeous! Good luck!

With that display of high heels, I think the room is leaning more into glam than boho! Maybe you can blend those two styles.

I say GO FOR IT with the stencil. If you don't like the outcome, you can always paint over it -- and you'll probably know early on into the project whether or not it's pleasing to your eye. It's only paint, which is one of the simplest changes one can make to a room.

@hollybar - While I love that stencil and think it would look fantastic in that room, it was not my idea. Bianaca added it to the poll in her original post. If this were my space I would do the stencil on all 4 walls. I would add a tribal rug, Kuba cloth, a couple of ottomans, and macrame plant holders. Of course throw some large pieces of artwork into the mix, maybe even artwork that is leaning on the the floor. A sheepskin or some other textured throw for the chair. The op would have a fabulous boho plant bedroom.

OTOH the OP says that she is super conservative but that she admires bold. My idea would be bold and in your face. It might be too much to handle for the super conservative type.
