An unusual proliferation

Collected some proliferations today while trimming scapes, two from Magic Dancer and one from Purple Paw Print. I thought the prolif on PP was just low branching when it bloomed, nope, it has root nubs. They all went in water to root. The Purple Paw Print prolif is on the left

Last year I got prolifs on a few plants I was happy to see. This year i have prolifs, but all are on plants i don't need more. Last year's 3 prolifs from Vanishing Mist I thought surely would have bloomed this year, they are huge. I do love prolifs.

Murphy's Law of daylilies - you never get proliferations on the ones you wish you would get.

The only prolifs I got this year were on seedlings that I most want to see multiply. So I was happy with that.

I have only seen one prolif this year . Too dry ? probably ! I don't have much luck with prolifs anyway so no great loss here.

Not seeing any proliferations so far this year which is quite unusual.

Have been too busy to check, but will do that this week. Glad I saw this post to remind me!
