We are finishing our basement and we’ll have a narrow bulkhead crossing over the middle of the sink counter and bar top overlooking rec room. We’d like pendants over the bar top which has nine foot ceilings but I think the pendants would like odd with the lowered 12” bulkhead behind them. Should we extend the bulkhead (lower ceiling) so it comes over the bar top and make pendants shorter? Is there a design idea that’s worked for others? Thanks
