OMG! it's raining , a nice steady rain

Wow , what a great day today . We finally got some rain ......not one of those deluge ones but a nice steady all day (well better part of the day ) rain. Have not seen a day like that for a very long time . It will help water in some new plantings thank goodness . Wishing for more days like this over the next month or so . Here are a few images just to make this post at least a little interesting .

Highland Dancer only grew to half its normal height this year .

Nice! Several I like here, but Cobraskin Necktie probably wins it for me. I always admire Patricia Snyder Mem. Everything looks very green and pretty. So glad you got your needed rain.

Nancy 6b Thanks for your comments . Most of my images are from earlier in the season when things weren't so drastically dry

I'm glad you got a nice soaking rain. I'm sure your daylilies appreciated it. We had been really dry but have had a couple of good rains now. It poured here this morning, but then cleared off and we got some work done in the garden.

Cobraskin Necktie and Patricia Snider Memorial are my picks today.

Heather - I bet you got that deluge last night as well, didn't you? Rained like the dickens here! A little late for some bloom, but it will be good for settling in your fall planting anyway.
