Honed or polished backsplash?

Is the calcutta gold subway tile honed or polished? It's gorgeous.

The backsplash is polished Calacatta Gold in 3" x 6" tiles. Thanks for your inquiry!

i also love the the backsplash! what is the counter top? and do you know if staining would be a possible concern? thank u!

The countertop is also Calacatta Gold. Staining on marble is always a possibility and is termed as "etching" which essentially causes the glossier finish to become dull if something acidic comes in contact with the surface. Marble is a living surface and requires maintenance to ensure that is continues to be as beautiful as the day it was installed. Think of it as a piece of jewelry; if it was never polished or cleaned, even the most faceted diamond would become dull. Your installer will be able to provide a yearly cleaning service to help keep your counters looking amazing.
