Design Dilemma Bathrooms

60 or 48 inch vanity? .

I am about to redo the hall bathroom in my 1500 square foot home. It is narrow with tub/shower at one end. Currently there is an ugly 60 inch vanity with two sinks. I am wondering if I should go to 48 inch with one sink? My daughter and guests use that bathroom. I'm trying to make it feel bigger.

You can always look for a slimmer vanity, to increase the floor space. But I'm not sure that a foot of width would do much -- maybe you can squeeze in a trash can?

I would prefer 1 sink unless a master suite bedroom.

If it's not the master suite one sink with more storage would be a heck of a lot better.
