Not a pro. Since you have such a blank slate, you can add color a couple of different ways. I like to start with one focal piece. For a bedroom, I would either find a great piece of art or wall decor and decorate around it, or find a bedding set that you like and decorate around that. My personal taste is having my bedding rather plain (I love all white bedding) and getting a nice piece of art and picking colors from that for accent pieces, such as pillows, curtains and vases. Wayfair has quite a few bed-in-a-bag sets that aren't too expensive. Before I recently changed up my guest bedroom, I got my bedding set off of Ebay. It was an unopened set from Pottery Barn and I got it for a great price.
