Love it! So simple but perfectly done!!! Editing to add- please include some details for us. I am particularly wondering about the lighting?

Thank you so much <3! Of course!

So the ceiling is white shiplap but you can't see and it doesn't show up well in pics when the light is on. The light is a fan/light combo that looks like a recessed light due to code: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B01COPXHRQ/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1 . I wanted sconces, but there really is sufficient light in there and I don't want to overdo it anymore than we did lol.

Paint: BM Onyx matte paint and BM White Heron trim.

Mirror and picture frames are West Elm

The toilet paper bar/towel holder/toilet paper storage which I don't think you can see is the Hex line at CB2.

GORGEOUS. Have been thinking of revamping our guest bathroom and I might just COPY your great taste.

May I ask if you have used that color combo throughout the house or just in the half bath?

Thank you so much! It's actually in our sunroom on the same floor as well :-)

Hubby LOVES your bathroom makeover as well. I'm hoping to mimic yours, minus flooring. We are planning on having one flooring throughout all downstairs!

    Thanks so much, yay!!

It was actually a painting mistake - they were supposed to paint the Lower walk/wainscoting under the chair rail all white, but the All black and white trim actually grew on us so we decided to keep it like this!

When I first saw the art on the wall, it looked like Thomas the Tank Engine, but that seemed so unlikely! So I blew it up and looked closer - faucets - .

I think the black on the lower portions of the walls worked out better than if they'd followed original plan. How often can you say that?

@suzanne_sl i know, super lucky the mistake worked out! My kids would have liked Thomas better lol. I hope the faucets work! I did a vintage Sofia Loren getting ready photo on the other wall. I thought about vintage babes in all three frames....I can always change if the faucets are dumb!

I think you should pretend that this was the plan all along! :) :)

I've never been a fan of colored walls...especially anything dark.

Our whole house is either B.M.'s Cloud White and White Dove - with the exception of one wall in the craft room, where my painting are hung on which is B.M.'s Hale Navy.

But I absolutely FELL in love with what you've done...mistake or not. Love love the bathroom, and Love love LOVE the sun room!

Wish 'someone' would share more photos of their house! ;)

This shows that we shouldn't be afraid of doing something dramatic and adding color. Your sunroom is stunning too.

Wow thank you guys for the great feedback! It was a risky decision, I'm glad it doesn't seem to have been a terrible one!

Im happy to share more before and after photos as we just renovated the whole house and I asked the Houzz community literally 1 million questions during the process since I'm so indecisive lol. Happy to share examples of How it worked out! :-)

Just beautiful. Yes please share more pix of your home. Can you come over and help get started??? lol. (just kidding but not really )

LOL! Okay, trying to upload a few before and afters below for ya!

We definitely had to budget. For example we couldn't replace to siding, so we painted it (BM Soot with BM Chantilly Lace trim)

The cabinets were new when we moved in so we didn't replace them, we painted them BM White Heron and BM Hale Navy. Replaced travertine floors with Hardwood to match the rest of the first floor because it's a small space to give it a more open feel. And replaced the countertops (white quartz with minimal veining). He also built a pantry and kitchen banquette with storage Bench seating.

There was nothing wrong with the before basement, but we had water damage so we changed to vinyl plank flooring and built storage cubbies.
