What zone do you live in??

Please ask for advice from your local garden center or check to see if you have a university-based gardening support available in person or on-line. Look for houses like yours on line to see what others have done. Your front windows are low to the ground and planting near them will take some professional advice.

Good advice from threers above. The first thing I noticed is the lovely large windows, so I would not plant any foundation plants in front of the them. Think of a curvy island bed(s) out in the lawn to frame your stately home. If you want to some hardscaping, I would make the walkway wider and longer to front portion of the driveway.

Some inspiration

I would do a mass planting of low flowering perennials. Take this photo to your local garden store and ask what would best suit depending on the amount of light these beds get.

Thank you!

You might consider liriope to outline the driveway.

My last house was easier to landscape but this one, I’m lost. I want some tall plants but. It sure if I can because of the windows. Will talk plants look right?

But not sure if it will look right because of the windows *******

I like lots of greenery and love to garden

You have some tall plants. They're called trees. No tall plants in front of the windows please.

I feel as if the the front of the house needs dimension. The trees in the picture will be cut down because they are in bad shape.

What color should I choose for the front door and garage. I’m thinking brown to give the house some color and warmth. Please advise

Your existing trees were planted too deep - they look like a pencil stuck in the ground. You should be able to see the root flare, which is the where the trunk widens at the bottom just before the roots begin. It is probably why your trees are not doing well. Mulching over the root flare is bad too.

Be sure that the new trees are done correctly. They're an investment and you want them to do well. A surprising number of trees are planted too deep, even by landscape contractors who should know better. I read an article just today in our local paper talking about a builder who was responsible for re-treeing an area. The trees are dying and an independent inspection confirmed that 25 of 28 of them were planted too deep.
