Both are nice! I think I remember your daughters seedling from a previous post and a rebloo, how cool. Does rebloom on seedlings happen often?

We get a fair amount of rebloom in the seedling beds, but they are quite crowded so they have to compete for the moisture and nutrients. When they are moved to the select bed and have more space, we see more rebloom.

The purple one is a first bloom. We have gotten more bloom in the bunch that we just planted this May than we usually do. Some of those seedlings were quite large when they were planted so I'm not surprised to see some bloom this early.

It's nice to have some seedlings reblooming. Both are nice. The first one impresses me with its look and its bud count on rebloom. That second one couldn't wait to start blooming, could it? It's so seldom that one gets bloom in the same year the seeds are started.

Do you have experience with the parent Possible Side Effects? How would you evaluate it?

Julia, I would say the eye on Monterrey Jack X Remembered Kisses is a maroon, but not very saturated, not nearly as saturated as I prefer, but since the base color is a light yellow, I guess it works.

Mantis, Possible Side Effects is a great grower in our garden. It also sets pods well so it's good for a beginner hybridizer like our daughter (it's actually her daylily and so are the seedlings). I probably would get rid of it if it were mine. While it's a great grower, I don't think the color is as nice as on some others. We are trying to downsize the garden so some have to go and it's not my favorite purple by any means.
