Very confusing photo. Is the foyer have a light on one side of a sloped ceiling? What is the ceiling height? The light you showed says semi flush mount??? Unless your entry is a tiny hallway with 8-9' ceilings that wont be the correct light for the space. Also your foyer light should be centered on the foyer and come down from the peak of the ceiling. It might help to see photos of the entire foyer from a distance.

I’m so sorry as it is a bit confusing . The ceiling height is 11’. The light offers an optional extension rod to be hung at the proper length above door entry. I will send another photo to give you a better prospective. This pic is a shot looking at it straight up on the ceiling . . I truly appreciate your quick response and will locate a better pic to upload for you , appreciate your patience!

Yes, exactly. It’s not a custom builder- so we had cans placed just to get closing completed . We didn’t care for their lighting options.

Here Is the other light option we would consider - however it doesn’t have a dining light that is rectangular which is needed for the dining rm , I believe

This is the entry and dining rom loff to right of entryway. The temporary can is slightly visible in the dining room. If I may upload a photo of the rectangle dining light we are also considering as well. For you professional opinion of the choice given the size and space of the room

A 13" light in this foyer............I would say the fixture is grossly too small.

Additionally, I don't understand the location of the fixture for this space. I might have considered centering it if the space is like this and used the larger two tier fixture instead.
