Recent Proline Range Hood Experience?

Anyone installed a Proline Range hood that can give an update on how it has worked? Or any other recommendations, we have a 48" Fivestar range with 6 burners and a griddle. Have a 54" Hood opening, so hoping to find a 52" insert that we can build a custom box around, or a nice looking 54" hood with a wood or white finish (do not want stainless steel)

I have a 36" Proline that was installed two years ago. No issues - we've been very happy with it.

@just_janni Did you get your range hood installed?

ha - no we're probably a couple months out. But the delivery and ordering experience was VERY good. Packaged well, arrived on time, etc. They have also updated their website with correct drawings. I like the lights being in the middle.

Also like supporting a US company.

Good luck with your proline. My experience has not been so good.

Terrible support. The vent hood unit is not bad, but no customer service what-so-ever and no replacement parts. You cannot purchase parts anywhere, only through ProLine.

You will need to take this into consideration. I am still waiting for a baffle filter which was broken, sent to them for repair and they lost it. I have been waiting for over 4 months and all they can say is that they do not have it in stock, even more ridiculous, they told me to source a 'steel fabricator' to make one if I need it so bad. Be very careful of company that do not service their products or stock standard parts. I have a hood without a filter now....looks ridiculous.

Have you gotten your filter, @Susan Ng? Our apologies for your situation! Give us a call if you need anything and ask for Brittney. She will be able to get things moving for you if you need it. 877.901.5530

This is (mostly) what messages from a brand's social media team should look like: Timely (well, not really timely, but closer than all the other message posted by @Proline Range Hoods), relevant, and offering some sort of dialog/solution.

All the other messages that @Proline Range Hoods has posted today violated at least one if not several of these rules and really don't contribute anything useful.

Please try sticking to quality posts in the future, and we'd love to see your ongoing contributions in this forum. But if your only contribution is blasted out your name, people will quickly see through that.

Terrible! Terrible customer service. I can’t speak to the actual hood as it was never delivered. While the shipper may be partly to blame (two no show scheduled deliveries, followed by sending it back to proline) the shipper was more than willing to work out what went wrong. The proline rep literally hung up on me when I suggested a refund for shipping since it was not my error (they have yet to refund my account for the cost of the hood). I understand they are a small business and have to eat that shipping cost, but for goodness sakes- I am an even small consumer! I don’t want to pay for shipping on a non deliverable either. So if you are okay with the gamble of taking multiple days off to wait for a pacakge that never arrives and don't mind throwing away your money and dealing with an un helpful rep give it a try. Not worth the headache for me. Hopefully you have better luck. The actual hood might be good? but I will not be giving my hard earned money to such a dishonest company. Mark Zuro should be ashamed.
