Come on guys, new garden! Did I bring home a thug? I have English Ivy already and my husband LIKES it! I need some suggestions! Does it make a nice border? Do I put it out in the woods by the creek? Or set it on someone's doorstep that I don't like?

Thank you, I am usually a very deliberate garden buyer. I watch the sales, shop around, think about analyzing; sunlight, watering conditions, the arrangement of colors, the depth of my pocketbook, whether to reward myself for a trivial success. It's my way of having fun.

This was a spontaneous buy. I stop at Farmers Market to buy a pie for the local Hosta group fall meeting. No pies and I was running late to the meeting. I turned around and bought kikutii var. yakusimensis.

So I was late for the Hosta meeting because I BOUGHT a hosta.

At the meeting, I was given the hosta centerpiece "Ebony Towers" and won a door prize of a Hellebore Joseph!

Came home and did my research and worried about bring home a thug.

Because of you, now I am happy and think I figured out a good spot. Smile!!!

With such an impressive name, I say plant it after running it over, just who it knows who’s the boss……lol
