I am purchasing a new construction home and it has a nook to the left of the foyer. It is the first room you see as you enter through the front door and has two French doors that open up to the porch. This small room is approximately 7.5’ x 8’ and it is connected to the formal dining room, which is the second “room” when you enter the house. I have no idea what makes sense here. I could create a reading room, but I don’t think we would use it much. What would be practical in this location?
