Ove sliding glass shower doors

My parents bought a sliding shower door kit it is an ove bel60 I am just wondering with the shower system they bought the kit is taller then the fiberglass wall surround would it be better to get a new shower door or have it sticking above also can I just fasten the header piece that holds the sliding glass door to the fiber glass surround or do I need it into blocking?

Get a door that fits the opening.

And once you get a proper sized door, make sure it's mounted into something solid. Hopefully, there will be studs at each end that you can secure it to with long screws. Simply mounting it into the fiberglass shell is asking for trouble.
