Spectacular! What is your approach to the keikis? I have Den that does that, and I remove them as soon as I find them, hoping for the plant to focus its energy on its own health and flowers.
If you had no interest in planting the keiki you could take it off. When the keiki shows the cane is near its end so leaving it on long enough for the keiki to develop and get a few roots. Then I take the entire cane. I cut the cane so the cane can fit in a pot leaving the new plant at the top of the pot. Depending on the angle of attachment, the cut can't could need to be placed horizontal to allow the new plant to be upright. The keiki never gets cut from the cane. It will feed the new plant and eventually rot away.
It is fast and easy to do. The last step is to add potting material. It takes me twice as long to type this as it would to pot it.
