If anything for a proper job, I'd say those are on the low side.

Get a detailed list of what they will do when they paint your cabinets and the price for each operational step. Why? I once knew someone who built a new home and bargained and bargained to get the lowest bid to have the woodwork and sheetrock painted. Well, she got the work done for the price that was her target price...but not a mopboard or a window frame or doorframe or door, got a speck of primer put on it. Needless to say, it's a mess now.. So know exactly what you are paying FOR when you see the bottom line. Will they sand, caulk, prep, surfaces to be worked on while they protect the surrounding surfaces with appropriate sheeting? Will they remove the doors and drawers and their affiliated hardware/hinges/knobs/handles, drawer slides, BEFORE they paint and replace any damaged or split wood they find? Will they upgrade to a nice new hinge or paint the existing hinges(NO!) and knobs and handles(NO!)... How many coats of primer and top coat? What grade of paint will they use and what sheen will it have? How do they organize to insure that the right door and drawer are placed back in their original place? The bottom line, is just one thing to look at and deal with in one time.. The quality of the work is what you get to live with the rest of your life. If they refuse to itemize(the closest thing you will get to a CONTRACT that will assure you they do what they say and you have recourse afterwards if you are unsatisfied)a bid line by line, than you need to keep looking for a professional with a reputation to maintain.

That’s less than half what a professional cabinet coating with conversion or 2K poly would cost. Gotta be no prep housepaint without a license and insurance.
