You could stencil the house number one of the stair risers leading up to the porch. Have a sign made that you keep in your lawn, mount one on the corner to the right of the bay window.

I would look at the house from several different angles as I drive to it and see what spot catches my eye first. Then use that area for the house number. You can also draw attention to it by having a colorful plant or something to draw people's eyes. You want it visible by emergency personnel.

Could the awning be removed?

You need to show a more complete, larger view taken from the street. Place the camera in line with the front door. Take some slightly overlapping pictures (without changing the camera location) if you need to show more width. Take pictures when the light is good so there are not very dark shadows (that we can't see into.)

If you have a mailbox by the street, make sure it is prominently marked. You could repaint that awning a cleaner white, and paint or install numbers on the front of the awning. Or perhaps create a vertical board with large numbers to attach to one of the awning posts.

Depending on what your driveway/garage situation is, if that faces street well you could put very large house numbers on the garage.
