That’s a great direction for the dinning table as it will make the space feel more open and allow everyone in the space the opportunity to interact with each other. As I look at your space I notice that the flooring is going in the same direction as the table will (opposite of the beams and lighting) and the entry door has a sort of parallel intersecting lines design. I would incorporate this into the decoration, this will make it all come together and create e a visually pleasing space. Home

Thank you Alley M Design Studio! So you think I need to leave the light the direction it is in the picture rather than turn it to run with the table. I was worried that the table wouldn't get enough light on either end.

Yes, from the pictures it seems to be at least 4 sources of natural light, as well as the light from the open floor plan you have going on.
