Like it! I think the extra storage is in part due to the increased upper size of 15" than most standard uppers. I have the Laxarby that is black/brown and no longer available. I believe it is exactly the color of yours IIRC, as I saw them the last time I was in IKEA last month. My laxarby are actually wood. but my rails have a curved treatment, where as yours are beveled. I have been very happy with mine. I have mine in an office and it works well over the last 4 years now, the finish is just fine.

ETA, I just saw the post that complemented your wall color. I have a similar color on my walls and I love that too. Its my husbands office. I used an antiqued gilded bronze finish handle on mine. Gave it a little masculine look for his space.

Yes, deeper storage helps. Also the previous upper cabinet was open shelving and one of the lower cabinets was just a 15" open cabinet with shelves. Drawers are so much better than shelves when you can extend them fully!

The wall color is Behr's Watery. We had bought it for our powder room and decided against it there, but it worked great with this room. I was glad to find a use for the $45 gallon of paint. :-)

I whole heartedly agree about drawers vs shelves. My old kitchen built in base cabinets were what I lovingly referred to as hell holes. Things just got shoved in there and lost for months and years. Nothing like a well organized pull out drawer.

Thanks for the post! Looks great. I am going to use these cabinets in my cabin kitchen. I like the finish on these and feel like they will be pretty hardy.

Can you post a pic of the 12” pullout opened? They don’t have a display at my local IKEA showing that cabinet.

If the white showing through bothers you, you can order black edge banding that is heat activated. I think it’s pretty inexpensive, too.

There is a little bit of wasted space with the pull out in the middle. I saw a hack where somewhere added a 3rd shelf in the middle. I worry with that it might make things harder to pull out of the bottom though. This is all easy access.

I would prefer regular drawers, but we could not fit a 15" cabinet in this spot, so I was happy at least we could use this. It is similar to what was there before, but it was with a regular door instead of pullout, so this is easier.

I think this finish will be great for a cabin kitchen.

@shead thanks. We did use some white tape in our kitchen when I made a homemade door for a tiny cabinet. We may do that here, but I may just let it go, since I only noticed it when first installing. If it was a kitchen I would fix it, but this you barely see sine the room is so small and you are never at the right angle to see it. :-)

Thanks for the pic! I was wondering if tall jugs would fit on top, so good to see.

Did you have a problem mounting the drawer handles to the center of the drawer fronts (and did you have to reinforce them)? I’m installing these in my kitchen and love the look of the centered handles, but my carpenter is afraid the drawer front is too thin and won’t hold the handle well.

@Carrie Mantha, no problems at all. I open the drawers daily and they still look as good as new. I would not worry about it at all. Don't let your carpenter talk you out of it if that is what you want.
