Does anyone know what this is please?

Good morning!

I'm hoping someone can help me...

My wife saw this on holiday and loved it, but unfortunately it had already sold. Her birthday is coming up so I'd like to get her one but for the life of me I can't seem to find one anywhere online - or anything similar.

Could anyone please shed any light on what it is, and what I should be searching for to try to find one?

You can't see it well in the picture but this is actually a water feature and there are small droplets of water running down the wires

It's an "oil" lamp -- it isn't water, it's oil. Was popular in the 70s. It's a rain lamp.

Ohh I remember those! I only saw them in furniture stores and they were all lamp bases. If you have a spot in your home for a lamp, you might have a better chance of finding one.

I remember them, too, Fori! And yes, always in furniture stores and there were some that were pretty big as I recall!

I forgot all about those....thank you for postIng this ..... There was a huge installation of this type of lamp in my neighborhood mall Topanga Plaza in So Cal It looked like it was raining in the middle of the shopping mall.

I think the mall was built in 1964

Oh, they had one of those in whatever shopping mall my mother used to take me to for birthday treats back in the mid-60s in Columbus, Ohio. I was so fascinated by it.
