If your taking about pergo laminate floors they are easy to clean. I had them in my kitchen and baths in my last house and have laminate in my present kitchen. I use either vinegar or amonnia in water to mop the floor. Sometimes for a quick touchup I use the wet swifter. There is no need to get down on your hands and knees to clean a floor. I love my laminate floors. They are almost indestructible.

Hi Pat, I'm Jordan and I work for Mohawk, which owns Pergo. Functionthenlook has given you spot-on advice. The recommended cleaner for Pergo laminate flooring is simply 1 cup household vinegar to 1 gallon warm water or 1/3 cup ammonia mixed with 1 gallon warm water. Squeeze the mop out really well before using it on your floor, unless you have one of the newer waterproof laminates from Pergo (Outlast+, TimberCraft + WetProtect, or Portfolio + WetProtect). You just want the mop dampened, not dripping wet. If you have any questions, please feel free to call our hard surfaces technical services team at 888-387-9881, option 3, for maintenance advice.

Jordan, how nice of you to reply. Thank you.
