Too much water when washing off the extra. I’ve used fusion pro and really liked it. Cleaned up well in 3 washings. Did you squeeze the excess water out of the sponges before washing tile?

The white is the latex oozing from the product. Did it get wet at any time after grouting?

I didn't think so.... now it isn't setting up. Ran a heater on it for the last 16 hours and still has soft spots.

I’d say you used too much water while applying it.

A heater or fan blowing isn't the best. The product was designed to 'cure' at room temperatures. It doesn't 'dry'. I'm gonna go with too much water during installation and cleanup. Use a hot air gun to soften what i there (if needed) to remove the grout and try again.

we need to know the substrate, comditiom of aunstrate tile type, and thinset mortar used, you may be describing a bucket premixed organic adhesive that is oozing , check date code on fusion bucket as well.

Date on Fusion is June of 2019. I'll do research about the others

Versabond by custom was used as thinset

Talked to the Custom rep and they said that the grout cure time is still on schedule. We are within the norm.

Talked to a Fusion pro tech and he said it's still in the realm of "normal" and to give it more time... we'll see.

sorry Im with Cabot. Be hopeful but prepared to remove it all. good thing they used thinset and smart talking to CBP directly
