This is our more “formal” living room and entry “foyer” room in our 1940 tudor. (We’re not really formal
people and we’ve created the foyer entry with furniture placement.)

Eventually we‘d like to place two coordinated chairs in the bay window. Still shopping for those! But, I’m curious to know if you have any suggestions regarding furniture placement.

My real dilemma is finding a proper window treatment for this bay window. I’d highly prefer not to paint the trim. I’ve tried a couple different shade options (white wooden blinds, cellular shade, tan roller) and none have really worked. Should I try a curtain? Maybe a shutter? Thanks again for you help!
