Building a 1500 sq ft bungalow with a finished walk-out basement. One side of basement will be a 2 BR apartment while the other side will be part of the main house. This is the space we are working with (attached). Hoping for a main rec room, small half bath (toilet and sink), small storage closet and a small office or small exercise area. The room currently marked storage won't have any windows so the idea of an additional legal bedroom doesn't come into play here. The rec room will be more of a man cave than anything else. TV, couch, pool table, and maybe a small area for a wine cooler. The basement will walk-out to a large back yard with a view and the plan is to have a ground level stone patio off the rec room. Any ideas how to best arrange this space?
