Please try to delete one of these posts.Why are your pots hanging there? Maybe before changing the backspalsh you reorganize the storage to get them down from there . The only place a pot rack works is by the stove You have this pretty kitchen until you get to the sink and then it is just a cluttered mess.

I would go up the wall behind the knives. The tiles are an excellent fit with the design of the rest of the room and will give a point of interest on an otherwise boring wall.

Doing what you’re considering will make your kitchen look like every other one posted here even with unique tiles. The backsplash as is has so much charm. I’d rearrange and put away a lot of what’s on the counter now and paint or replace the shelf in the glass cabinet to match the cabinets. The little signs and plant are cute, but they take up valuable space.I agree about finding a new place for the cooking pots, out of site. Maybe keep a favorite one on a burner.
