Yes. Early October is nothing - if it is hardy to this zone, you can plant here pretty much all winter long. I oversee landscape installations throughout winter.....except for much of December when my contractor is out of town :-)

LOL! I'd never admit to that :-) Instead, I just collect plants all season to plant in fall. I have a couple of areas to redo and I've been waiting until now when things slow a bit to do so. Less watering involved!
