overwhelmed with so many kinds of white quartz

So I went to a place selling countertops and got overwhelmed with white quartz. There were so many kinds of “white” that I do not know which one to choose that would look nice on my kitchen. Decided to just change the countertops rather than repaint my cabinets. Here are some photos & they all look almost the same that I cant figure out. HELP!

I would rely on bringing some samples home so you can get an idea for the undertones in the quartz. Are you redoing your backsplash as well?

The program to see the slabs in your space isn't great, but the pictures on the MSI website help determine the pattern on the slabs at least. You could also search for the different quartz types on houzz or google to see them implemented in different settings.

<?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8"?><md>Thank you. So you mean I will need to buy samples? First time to do this. I apologize if I sound stupid with my question...
I dont even know what my cabinets are. Cherry? Maple?

MSI should be able to give you free samples of the quartz you are interested in so you can bring them home and see them next to your cabinets.

The place selling countertops should loan you some samples. They might run your credit card to make sure the samples get returned and they might ask that you only borrow them for 24 hours. I don't think that gray/white marble look quartz is the best choice for your kitchen. Why did you decide on this color/pattern?

And check the NSF database to make certain the quartz you choose is food zone safe. (Many of MSI's quartz colors are not.) I myself had chosen an MSI quartz and then learned it was safe for "splash zone only" (i.e. bathrooms only). So I chose a NSF certified food safe Hanstone quartz instead: Specchio White. MSI is listed as M S International on the list:

<?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8"?><md>@chispa, i had more pics not just those with "marbling" but like i said on my post, they look the same. I just thought with white countertops, my kitchen will look brighter. It was that or repainting my cabinets & mostly suggested to change my countertop instead. My original kitchen countertop is brownish granite on brown cabinets.

If you are keeping the white sink, try to match the counter to it because the sink and counter will be highly visible.

Maybe take a look at MSI Cararra Caldia. I used it in one of my bathrooms. It's a very pretty off-white, and might blend better with your warm cabinets.

Felizlady, thats why I opted for something white. May it be granite or quartz, my kitchen just need some TLC...

<?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8"?><md>Jkt107, i will check that out. Hopefully its “food zone safe” like what pittsburrito’s saying. I did not even know they also have those category.

Hoping some pros will chime in.... Tylnn1960, I hope so too coz this project dont come cheap and I hate to regret the end result. I will shop for lighting as well, see if it helps brighten my space.

I would keep looking for a warmer white counter -- like your backsplash tile. All of the options you posted are much too cool for your space, creating a warm/cool clash. If you have an extra backsplash tile, take it with you and shop for the right colored top.

I think that something was wrong on your app -- your photos are not showing the chosen quartzes in your kitchen at all. either they haven't finished rendering, or the app is somehow using a super-blow-up of a small sample, or something unhelpful. Those patterns are quite different.

Agree that you need a warmer tone pallette in your kitchen.

I agree with karl and acm. None of your choices will look right with your wood. I am going by having an understanding of quartz and seeing it in person.

What is on the counter now?

It might be easiest to change out the backsplash. It looks like you have a matt finish travertine.

A ceramic with shine will reflect more light.

Eld6161, i have granite. The backsplash is cream because I took the lightest color from the granite to use for backsplash. Its not matte finish

Acm, warmer tone pallete...so on the “off white or beige?
