Living Room Entry Home Decorating

Need to create a front entrance

My Florida home front door opens directly into the living room. There is no foyer at all. The living room itself is small. As you walk in, you immediately see on your right the television and media console. The left is the living room furniture. How do I redecorate this area to create the illusion of an entrance area?

Lots of possibilities. But a sketch of the floor plan with measurements is needed. Some photos taken from front door and reverse from living room looking to front door would help.

Pretty door and home. Entry is super crowded with large buffet/chest. Odd spot for TV. There might be a better room layout that could create a entry space. Post a rough drawing of the space and I can help with space planning. Measure and post length, width, depth and highest point on furnishings.
