I don't have a wall but would this work? Wrap some masking tape around your hand, sticky side out, then brush across the wall. It might pick up a few stragglers. It is probably stickier than the lint roller.

Sounds like a good idea, Theresa. What is the finish on the design wall?

I've used a cat brush to get cat fur off upholstery I couldn't shift with a vacuum or lint roller. It's better at getting the fur off the furniture than it is at getting the fur off the cat :-D

My “wall” is actually a flannel curtain, so I could throw it in the washer if I was so inclined. :). I just pick off the largest threads and ignore the rest.

Mine is fleece and I have an old men's lint brush I use when needed.

My design wall is two panels of styrofoam insulation duct taped at the seam from home depot with cotton batting glued to them. I use a large lint brush with the tear tape, but I don't have a huge problem with lint. I figure any lint/thread that sticks is on the backside of my projects...out of sight out of mind, LOL.

I have a cheap length of vinyl tablecloth backed with flannel which has worked great for years....but yes, the threads are awful. I remember one time wrapping masking tape around my hand and “hitting” the flannel with my palm, which helped, but didn’t completely get rid of every.single.thread. Now I just sort of ignore it.......

I don't have a design wall. I was hanging the 3M hooks for a flannel design wall when I started thinking about the quilt squares I was going to put up and didn't pay attention that I was standing on a 2 step ladder and backed up....obviously falling through space, putting my arm out to stop the fall and breaking it, requiring surgery. My husband won't let me up a the ladder without him anymore, so I gave up on the design wall. I use a bed.
