Master bath remodel

Considering travertine for the floors. I've heard that Mexican travertine is higher quality than Turkish travertine. Anyone have input on that opinion? Also, this bathroom is on the second floor. Any problem using natural stone on the floors on a second story?

I have heard the heavier the better- as it has more stone and less of the lighter fill they use. If you look at travertine you can see what I mean. May help to handle it and see what you think.
