We are redoing our front yard and need some help deciding what to do for the front porch stairs.

We plan to redo the driveway and front porch with pavers (see picture - same as what we have in backyard). I don’t like the way pavers look on steps. What material or look should we use ok steps?

For context, this is the rest of our plan. We plan to hang a pendant light over the front door and hang lights on the sides of the archway to the front door and the garage (see picture - looking at some modern lantern like fixtures) . We plan to remove the brick details. We plan to keep the grass and update the plants to be more updated with nice lighting. We plan to remove the small palm trees and plant two date palm trees flanking our entryway. We plan to replace the tree in our front courtyard with a Palo Verde tree. We plan to change the window on the front right of the house to match the one next to it for symmetry. We plan to knock down the mailbox and have something less conspicuous on the left side of the property. We plan to change the front foor to a single door with some windows on the sides. Planning on removing the metal gate under the archway and instead installing wooden doors.
