I'm sad to say I think you've been duped. I've no idea what a mini bonsai lily could possibly be and growing roses from seed is a lottery. eBay from China is notorious for mis-selling I'm afraid.

I don't know anything about that site but a lot of the seeds offered on ebay are scams. I know of someone who bought rose seeds and when they grew they ended up being radishes! I do know there are some legitimate sites but I don't know any specifics. So buyer beware!

So, these were meant to be lotus rather than lily seeds. I'm afraid just looking at the pictures raises suspicions. Most of the colours shown simply don't exist in lotus. They've been faked.

I had a quick Google and it looks as if micro lotus can only be grown vegetatively from tubers and not from seed. Consequently they're expensive.

I contacted the same people about the seeds told me they got a bad batch so they sent me more seeds along with the rose seeds I will try and grow the bon seeds again and I can send you pictures but it took a lot longer to even get it to sprout then what the video shows

Did you happen to notice that all of the photos with the colored flowers are photo shopped? There are perhaps two different images which are then rotated and the flower colors are altered to appear as if there are different varieties. Who knows what the seeds are? Good luck. I'm sorry you were so easily parted from your money.

The bigger the lie the easier it is for 'we the people' to believe it, me included. I am pretty sure you've been had! Be glad it wasn't for a lot of money. Walk away, you'll be glad to put it behind you.

It cost only like $2 and then they ended up refunding me so I don't think it's exactly duping....I don't know what the flowers look like exactly but even if they flower at all...I'm happy if it even grows and makes pads in the 1st place so we'll see what happens...I got some free seeds so why not

As I mentioned above, these micro lotus can only be propagated vegetatively afaik. So you can't grow them from seed. It wasn't a 'bad batch'. It was a lie. They did dupe you. It's not the cost. It's that they sold you a non existent product. Not many people will bother to ask for a refund and that's how they maje their money.

There are pygmy water lilies (not Lotus) which can be grown from seed but you'd need to find a reputable dealer in unusual plants to obtain them.

If you are a beginniner I would recommend never buying from eBay or Amazon until you have enough experience to spot whether what is being offered is plausible.

Trust when I say I don't believe everything I see online...since it was only a $2 I thought what the heck I'll go ahead and try it because other countries have very unusual plants and such....it was just for fun and I don't know why people on here talk about this so seriously... It's very obvious in the picture that it's fake... I watched the video before I purchased the seeds and I care more about the little pads that float on top then the flowers and again it was just for fun.

I take it seriously because it's fraudulent, illegal under Trade Description legislation, undermines trust in reputable traders and puts people off gardening because their efforts fail. It's still fraud however small the individual sums.
