What are the room dimensions? Where are the windows and doors? Can you post a floor plan?

We need a floor plan to scale marking all the stuff listed above . Right now I would say the wall where the red and white toy box is.Do you have any sense of the reason for all of these weird dips?

window is next to red and white toy box (to the right of it). the dips are due to the main floor there is a fire place (where toy box is) and the other dip is where our front door is.

More pictures and dimensions. Those recesses may be good spots for built in floating shelves or large art to fit so they look more intentional.

what do you guys think about closing a egress window?

we have an egress window and we want to cover it up with drywall so we can use that space for the tv. we have 2 other egress windows in the basement already

That would be a NO you never remove an egress window IMO
