Watch out for putting a manufactured home on rented land. It’s a sure way to make a landlord rich and your manufactured home hard to resell.

I worried about that. Well not that specifically. But just everything that goes into getting a septic tank. The 2 places I talked to have land packages so surely, hopefully they know that. But will ask them to make sure. Thanks

armchairshopper gives sound advice. Well and on site sewage management, whether its a traditional septic or sandmound, can often cost more than the land (depending on location).

Make sure you research the cost to have the home set with an adequate foundation (double wides) and skirting (mobile) so you aren't spending too much money to heat and cool your home.
