    Some of my favorites and some new ones. Love the fall color of rugosas. What is the feathery plant in the pic with Comtesse de leusse? So nice with the blue behind it. What is the blue?

      Thank you all. Flowers, the blue is "Bluebird" aster and the yellow is Amsonia Hubrichtii. My Amsonia is a little thin, but has great Fall color. The "soil" there in this section is not good.

      Thank you, Sheila. I wanted to guess some kind of aster, but the size threw me off. It's huge! I've never grown Amsonia, but like the way they look during the growing season. I didn't know they also had fall color. I like it a lot.

      Comtesse is lovely. HMF spells her first name Festetics, and my Vintage book Festectics. This might be the worst name ever.

      Sheila, I enjoy glimpses of your beautiful setting as much as the equally beautiful roses. Southern Oregon is one of the best places on earth. One of my favorite photos is that of Comtesse de Leusse set off with so many luscious companions. Your home is always a lovely backdrop to your plantings. Diane

      Sheila, I just love seeing your roses in your perfect setting! They all look so happy there.
