nidnay, if you attempted to post this in the proper forum, it didn't work :-)

Holy moly....this site is going to drive me to drink!

When I clicked on your link, it brought me to the thread using the app, but there was no option to post a pic, so I looked for a thread with the same title (of which there are many), but this time using my browser instead and was able to post the photo.

I have another idea....

Try entering the site through gardenweb.com and then accessing the Name That Plant forum. A number of folks have reported difficulties using the phone app and more so when attempting to post photos. Instead of trying to include a photo in your initial post, you may have more luck if you include it as a comment.

gardengal48 ........Whether it’s the Houzz app or working in a browser, there is very little here that works properly (although it’s certainly easy to make a purchase...surprise, surprise). This is by far the most frustrating app and website I’ve ever dealt with. And contacting support is completely fruitless. They don’t even respond anymore. So sad because they have a great opportunity for a fantastic site and app but no one seems to know what they’re doing and every change and update just brings new problems on top of the old. Can you hear my frustration :)

I tried the Gardenweb link and it still did not work.

The problem is.....most apps ID incorrectly. 🤣 Case in point - the plant in question is NOT giant knotweed!!! It's a tree seedling of some type but that hardly is a big concern a year later.

You cannot beat the Name That Plant! forum for a fast and accurate plant ID!!
