The rule of thumb is length plus width of room, so it would be 28" diameter chandelier. This would also work nicely with your 60" table.

Agree a 28” round and 24” high chandelier is good but with that width table you could go up to 36” wide/round. Just watch height. For modern look, what metal would you like?

Half the width of the table is alway an easy rule, work out to about 30 inches. You have a little height you can work with too. but really a lot of things that arent 30 inches would work here, and I might think the would be a bit bulky in the space. especially in a contemporary feel

So true! I'm living in a condo and expect to be here another 3-5 years. I'm thinking of $1,000 or less. I like the two below, although I love some of the crystal ones they look difficult to keep clean and crystal is only beautiful when it sparkles!! Any thoughts?
