I agree that the wall needs nothing, but wonder if the loveseat in that spot kinda defeats the purpose of having a pass through?

If I moved the couch, what should I put there?

Can you share pics of the rest of the space, so we can see what else you have in this area?

I see why you want to put something on the walls. But you don't need it. I would first invest in an area rug to ground the space, then

I would put the sofa across from the slipper chairs. put the sofa right about where the single chair is now so you can still walk behind it, move the matching chairs off the wall and create a seating area. You may be able to put the armchair back in the mix where the sofa is now. Once you have a nice rug the room will ground itself and give you a more cozy feel.

Another option would be to pull the sofa a little closer to the fireplace, and move the two slipper chairs to the left and right side of the fireplace. Maybe move the larger chair out. Depending on how much you love the slipper chairs... I might sell those and opt for a second larger chair that is cozier.

You have such a beautiful room that would look even better if you used lamps instead of that harsh overhead lighting. Be sure to work some tables and lamps into the mix.

Very pretty! I see now that the sofa is not right up against the pass through and you actually have a walkway there. It looks fine and agree that focusing on other elements such as tables, lamps, perhaps a rug, will really help tie the room together nicely. Still don't think you should add anything to the pass through wall.

Thank you for your help.
