Hi all, I could really use some help deciding how to update my bathroom, without really updating it. the homeowners before put beige/almond everywhere, including this bathroom. This is a full bath in the hallway for non-master bedroom and guest usage. Although I spend a lot of time here as it is much larger than our master bath and has outlets so we can charge our tooth brushes and I can do my hair. So I want it to be pretty. We can’t afford a full gut, so the awful almond tile in the shower and floor stays, even the tub is a beige tone. I was hoping to get a new vanity top, perhaps white and then paint the vanity. Perhaps paint the medicine cabinet over the toilet or get shelves to replace. Then put in a new oval/round mirror and new lighting. The walls are the whitest white and have a shine to them. I don’t think we will paint the walls, so for now the whitest white also stays. I’ll go with either soft matte gold or matte black finishes. My dilemma: What color do I paint the vanity so that it doesn’t clash with the almond tile or the whitest white walls? What color vanity top?
