Be careful not to over-do the bathroom. You want it to be nice but not so much so that the rest of the house doesn't fit with it.

Dalma, thanks for your message, and the photo of the lovely bath. It is coming along with new curtains, new rug, new towels and a fresh paint job (Benjamin Moore's Barley, which I also used in my kitchen and in the stairwell and landing that lead to the bath). Very light, warm, and airy now. In the spring, I'll put in a hardwood floor, claw-foot tub, and I've been shopping for a small chandelier for new lighting. Once done, it will blend so nicely with the rest of my house. Here are the latest photos. Sorry they're not professional.

Great work so far- it looks beautiful! We definitely agree with you with installing a mini chandelier above the new tub. It will look great and certainly transform to the bathroom! Thank you so much! Yes, the examples you show are exactly the kind of thing I have in mind. The more crystals, the better, and some polished bronze or copper would be nice, as all my hardware is in polished bronze and I have copper accents. The fixture will go right in the middle of the ceiling (there is a skylight over the tub area) and the lowest crystal can't hang much more than 20-25 inches from the ceiling or it will be too long. Are the ones you show in the pics in this range? I also plan to put it on a dimmer switch so I can have a choice of bright light for cleaning or romantic lighting for a soak in the tub. So I'm guessing I want at least 3 60-watt bulbs, correct?

Good job. The claw foot will be perfect. Love the color on wall. Instead of a curtain. How about a roman shade? Curtain isn't right in a bathroom.

Keep chandelier to era of house. Something antique.

Also, I couldn't find much detailed info, like the bulb wattage that these chandeliers accommodate. 40-watt, 60-watt?
