I don't know of any way to change that other than changing your entire system to one that eliminates the baseboards altogether. You have to arrange your furniture in ways that keeps the baseboards clear. They won't be as noticeable once your furniture is in.

You may not like the look, but baseboard hot water heat beats forced hot air heat by a mile. Mine stay hot all night. I painted mine the same color as the wall so they "blend" better.

I agree hot water baseboard heat is awesome compared to forced air and the heaters do not get as hot as electric ones so not such a big deal to have to have everything out from them .I just painted mine the same as the walls and by the time all the furniture is in you won’t even think about them all the furniture you see here is sitting right in front of the heaters no problem
