Parade Day (WEKmeroro), a grandiflora rose bred by Christian Bédard (US, before 2013) and released in US (2018). 4-inch pink with white stripes blooms have strong fragrance. This rose is new in my garden. It was also planted in a shaded spot because I ran out of sunny spots, LOL. I like the colors of this rose, and it's very healthy in my garden. Helen

paradise is one of my favorites!

I've always loved Paradise. Silly me I tried to move it and it died, boo hoo. I bought a new one but ended up with a mislabeled mystery rose instead.

Kristine, growing roses is addicted. We started with one rose, and suddenly we are out of room. Every time I select a new rose nowadays, I constantly ask myself is the rose unique enough to be in a pot in my garden (no ground spot now). The poor rose, to be judged so harshly, lol.

I was uncertain when I bought Parade Day because I thought I wanted more contrast in the stripes. But the fragrance won me over. Now I love the pink on pink stripes and am very happy I bought it. Does it bloom well in the shade? How much shade does it get?

Mmmm12, PD doesn’t have diseases while it is in the shade (a bit of afternoon sun). However, it’s not advisable to plant it in a shaded area. Helen
